to read your post, best wartime presidents of all time . It is a fact that he has one of the worst approval ratings ever. So how can it be true that he also might have the status of best wartime President? That post didn't remind THIS American of anything positive about Bush so count me out. Stop spending 10 billion a month in IRAQ! Get us OUT! We can't afford IRAQ and that means it isn't an option. We cant just put it on Amex and rack up sky miles.

I have heard the argument over and over that Bush 'protected' us after 9/11 and the proof is that we have not been atttacked. I think that is total BS. Just because nothing happenned doesn't mean something would have. Sure there have been some people caught and suspected of doing some attacks, but really, we can't prove anything would have happenned or that it would have been big enough to really get concerned. I believe they are not attcking because they take several years to carefully arrange an attack. Is 'best' somehow measured by the number of people killed during his leadership? Then he would be in the running.

I still firmly believe there is volumes of info that the public doesn't know about 9/11 and I believe we have not gone directly after those who attacked us, rather we went after a pre-existing problem, Saddam, and got a 2-for-1 special because some of the terrorists were hanging out there, but certainly not all of them are. When is a politician going to discuss the threat that Saudi Arabia is to us and what we will do about them!!!??? Oops they are our oil buddies, cant say anything bad about them. Obama has already stood up like a man and said that Iraq did not attack us and had nothing to do with 9/11. That's my man! Finally some straight talk!

For me, 'God' has nothing to do with my pick for President. I don't think 'God' has any place in schools or elections. Not any more than than the tooth fairy.

Riddle for today: How come people who believe that God is in control and/or that destiny is pre-determined, look before they cross the road? Surely they dont think they are going to change god's plan do they?
