and in it for themselves, as is everyone in government. Until you take away the benefits, power, and backdoor crap that goes on, You'll NEVER have someone that will do whats right for the average American citizen. The only checks and balances anymore are the CHECKS being written by our government and lobbyists so executive office, congressmen, and senate members can pay the BALANCE on their lavish lifestyles while the rest of us "eat cake"
