I guess I have misunderstood your previous comments as I thought you were 100% Obama and thats why I posed the question to you.
While you do definately raise some valid points and I do respect your opinion, unfortunately it doesnt give me much to go on to convince me that Obama is the way to go.
Yes, McCain did vote with Bush on a lot of things over they years, but then again he also voted against him in numerous cases as well. I try to not even bring in the comparison as they are 2 different people and while many people find it hard to believe, George Bush is not running for re-election.
Many people try to say McCain is just another Republican and they are all like George Bush. Thats like putting Obama in the same catagory with Jimmy Carter, something I dont buy either.
It is a concern that Palin just has 18 Months experience as a Governer? Sure there is some concern. However for me, not as much concern as there is voting a man into the President position with the same lack of experience. No matter who you vote for this year, there will be inexperience in the White House.
What concerns me the most is that the majority of people that seem to be backing Senator Obama cant really tell me why they think he is the best person for the job.
I get it, they want change and they hate George Bush. However no matter what happens in November, George Bush will not be in charge anymore. People want change and they will get it, no matter who takes office.
All I ask is that when people vote that they understand who they are voting for and not who they are voting against.
Thanks again and happy chipping,
Doug
