Toni, my experience is possibly most unusual compared to others. I smoked for 35 years, quit cold turkey, gained one h--l of a lot of weight, and ever since felt miserable. It has been 13 years now since I quit and happy I did, but still feel worse than when I was a smoker.

Most people say they feel better, but I believe the extra weight is what is making me feel unconfortable. I lost 50 lbs last fall, gained 15 of it back but will try to lose most of that before the convention.

I know all the hazard about smoking but tell me how many fat old people you know or even have ever seen? I don't mean youngsters like me in our 60's, I'm talking about OLD people.
