I have a HP 3-in-1 printer, scanner, copier. It is the best printer I've owned so far. The only problem is the scanner.. When I scan chips that have an orange or pink, they just don't come out right. HP customer service said that should not happen and to uninstall and reinstall but that didn't help. The cartridges never dry out and the printer ALWAYS works. Except for the minor color problem, I highly recommend HP. Maybe the higher priced versions of the 3-in-1 work better. I paid under $50 for the machine and have been using it for three years with no problems and the ink is not as expensive as some others.

As for Epson, I had three of them because I heard they were the best. Not for me they weren't. They went thru ink like crazy.. If the printer head was clogged, maintenance called for ink to clear the clog. I dumped one Epson after the other for the same reason.. INK WAS TO EXPENSIVE..!!!
