Re: And the 'rest' of your answer...
In Response To: Re: Here's Your Answer... ()

is that your cover dates from 1953-1955 grin

El Rancho Motel, 3310 S. Virginia, opened between 1945 & 1950 (meaning we don't have the phone books between those years sad ...it's not in our 1945 phone book, but is in our 1950 phone book).

In 1952 a listing was added for El Rancho Cocktail Lounge, 3310 S. Virginia. That listing changed phone numbers several times, but the name and address stayed the same right up through our 1971-1972 phone books. Then I ran out of phone books until 2002, and it was gone.

Still only the one El Rancho Motel in 1952.

Then our phone books skip a couple of years. sad

In 1955 El Rancho Motels, Inc. #2, 777 E. Fourth Street, is now listed in the phone book. The phone number is 3-1031. The phone number for #1 is 2-8565. That's the numbers you're looking for grin .

In 1956, 1957, 1959 and 1963 phone books, the number for #1 is listed as FA2-8565, and the number for #2 is listed as FA3-1031.

In 1964-1972 the number for #1 is 322-8565; the number for #2 is 323-1031.

Our next Reno phone book is 2002...El Ranchos all gone sad

sooooooo...our 1955 phone book is the only one that lists the phone numbers that match your matchbook (I'm getting as 'punny' as Phyllis! vbg )...though the same phone numbers could be listed in the 1953 or 1954 phone books that we don't have.
