Geoffrey, as Americans we all have a right to our own opinions.
And I agree with much of what you say.
I'm certainly hoping for a Democrat victory come this November.
We need change in Washington, and in our political system, and I just don't see that coming from the Republican ticket.
But I will stop short of insulting the conservatives on this board.
I've certainly had my share of "run-ins" with a few of them.
And I will leave it at that.
They feel strongly about their ideology and partisan views, just as so many of us on the "left".
My only hope, by posting my political opinions, is to create thoughtful debate and give a voice to our side, which on this board is very much in the minority.
But I love collecting ... and have a very high tolerance for pain ... so I think I'm OK here.
Don't give up the fight!
