From what TWC is telling us, this thing is going in the general area of N.O.

Yes, anything is possible (turning east/west), but given the facts that N.O. is below sealevel; and unfinished constuction lakeside... I can see the concern there.

I do agree there may be a little over reacting going on, as I noted with the thousands of refrigerated trucks at the fairgrounds, but the bottom line is that the governor is authorized to exercise powers whatever needed in a SOE and there's very little room for anyone to do anything about it.
