No competition=lousy service, and i have seen Paypa's customer service drop like a rock. Quick forinstance, I purchased an electronic item, and within 3 days of the auction's close, I knew it was fraud. eBay verified it. When I called Paypal, they did nothing (in fact, the agent giggled at me), even though there were other potential victims. They made me open a dispute and wait while others got taken. Paypal's guarantee covered 90% of what I lost, but others lost more.
When you are the only game in town, why SHOULD you care?
