I purchased the ASUS Eee 1000 PC like a lot of people did and it is very cute!

It does not have an optical scanning device, I knew it didn't!

I purchased a Verizon wireless PC card!

It has a CD that must be loaded into the PC Laptop!

I cannot use a USB cable because I need the USB fittings to be the same at both ends?

I have a PC with a CD reader etc., but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to open the CD from Verizon and get the info into the ASUS PC laptop!

So:

1. Can I copy the CD onto a flashdrive and load the info into the laptop?

2. Do I have to get an external CD reader and connect it directly to the laptop?

I am so....................
