This has been on my mind since the convention
I was a Vol. at the convention working the club sales table. I over heard two Board members talking, and then verified with another board member that a large some of money was stolen from one of the dealers table. Now I would never print names, and I don't know if the story is true, no reason to doubt the board members. However, have never heard a word about this incident. Feel real bad for the dealer, my understanding was about 5,000.00 cash was in a paper bag, and someone went under the table and stole the bag and money. What a shame if true, maybe our security should be better. A crook or two with a day pass, knowing a lot of big $ sales are around, could work as a team, looking for an opportunity, could steal chips, table items, cash, or anything else on the tables of value. Especially if a partner has the sole dealer busy at the other end of the table. Maybe guards should check bags and items for receipts. Any cameras overhead? In this economy especially, a lot of despert people out there. Any dealers or members have any input?
