Re: So What is this Showboat chip??? More ???

The chip in the auction looks like a plastic chip. Is it?
The real chip is a H&C made in 1955.
Bud Jones company went in business in 1965 as the Nevada Dice Company. They never made Clay Chips.
BJ Clay chips, NV and DiCD mold were made at Burt.
They made their first plastic injected mold chips in 1980.

If I remember right the real chip is a CJ H&C, it would have been made at Burt.
Bud Jones owned 1/2 of Christy Jones in 1955.
Burt would never have sent out extra inlays.
If the chip in the auction is clay, then it was made at Burt same as the real one.
Im betting there is no record on the auction chip ever being made at Burt.

One thing for sure, Bud Jones never made the chip in the auction unless he made it after 1980 and photoshopped the inlay.
