When my computer got infected a few months ago the guy that fixed it said (and I agree) the McAfee is worse than not having any protection. It slows up your computer a lot. My laptop would barely run with it on and it took 4-5 hours to scan the system. I swithced to AVG on his recommendation and it works great.
