I didn't win First prize at the ANA Convention in Baltimore which concluded yesterday, but I had a good time and brought home a bunch of goodies!!! In the scan below you will see my 2nd place ribbon, my 2nd place silver medal, my Convention Exhibitor's badge and a large bronze medal for placing an Exhibit. The Chief Judge of the entire show - Mark Lighterman told me that it was a very close decsion between 1st and 2nd place in the Chip and Token category. The 3 judges in the category had to review and discuss their ratings, but in the end another competitor was awarded First Place. I have had Exhibits in five ANA Conventions in the last six years and I have finished First 3 times and second twice.
Also shown in the scan are five trial strikes in lead of various CC>CC Convention medals, I also picked up 11 other trial strikes in silver and bronze from various years - these are very rare items and I was pleased to be able to obtain them.
I also picked up some nice chips - several NCVs and roulettes. As I said - "It was ALL Good."
Take care,
Jerry
