Every time he would come to the coin show in Orlando, Florida, I would take him for Chinese food on International Drive. We would always arrive early for low tea... and we'd just sit and drink tea while the joint was being prepared for dinner... and I'm one of the few people who knew what he actually did with his empty sugar lump packets. Even while at our club conventions (the few I've been to) I would make it a point to take him for Chinese. Some mornings when I would come back to the hotel, there would be your father sitting at a poker table, and when I would stop to greet him I would ask "Al, you sure do get up early in the morning," his reply would be "I'm on Puerto Rico time." One year when I arrived at the show w/o prior plans of setting up, your father had a corner table which was not being used on the isle side, when I asked him what the empty space was for he said "It's for anyone who would like to use it to buy and sell."

Your father was a very true and honest man... and he always got every first shot at at my Puerto Rico finds... he never held back in the least when I needed pricing info as to who would pay what for certain chips in PR. I miss him, dearly.
