Ok, let's just say the chip is worth $15.00. I win 10 of those auctions and elect not to pay for the insurance and I save $15.00. One the 11th auction I can lose a $15.00 chip in the mail and I'm ahead of the game. I've been buying and selling chips over the internet for years and have yet to lose a single chip in the mail. (oops my math was off previously )
Also I NEVER said Josh was saving anyone any money. The whole debate was about the legality of whether or not a seller should have to give a refund if insurance was offered and declined. I do admit that I did say I like having a choice because it also saves me money. You were the one that jumped in and criticize me about the of the economics side of it and then we got going on this different side debate.
