I can remember swinging through Bordertown on one of my many gambling adventures with my brother in the late 1990's. I played blackjack at the "only" open table (I think there were two tables), under the very close scrutiny of the dealer and the "Pit Boss", and older woman on a stool next to the table. When I went to walk off with some chips, they were very vocal about cashing them in! I was able to get 4 or 5 chips "for my Grandchildren!"
I remember the atmosphere of the bar/restaurant/casino in general, as smoke and bacon!
I miss those times!
