I played Omaha HL the other night online and was hitting high cards most of the night. Winning nearly every other pot. Made it to the final 3 and thought to myself....hmmm I haven't won a low hand tonight as most of my cards were high. Only when I hit a 6432A for the nut low and lost to two pair for the high did I realize that ......hey...why did that guy win both ends when I had the low. It was only then that I realized that I had not been playing Omaha HL but had been playing straight Omaha for over an hour!No wonder I had not won a low. Oh yeah...felt intelligent over that one.... ...but I came in second anyway.
