Rick, I think you are way out of line.
In Response To: What a load of crap! ()

First, you post the details of the sellers negative feedbacks which indicate 8 negatives in NINE years, out of thousands of transactions.
Only TWO of those feedbacks were in the past 4 years and one of those was from a buyer with (-1) score which you can disregard.

You ask for "Courtesy and professionalism".
Can you really expect that after the comments you made in this thread?

When the seller did respond and indicated "I am trying to be fair and will work out a solution with Rick." you respond immediately with "What a load of crap...." Hardly courteous or professional either.

Now I am fully aware of a sellers responsibility regarding 'delivery' of goods to satisfy a contract etc etc
However, in this case, the contracts you entered into by bidding clearly stated "I do not ship outside the US" so I can understand why the seller believes you 'took your own risk' especially as he offered you the insurance which you declined.

I deal with many US sellers who state they will not ship outside the US. If I persuade them to I know I do so at my own risk and I have to take that into account.

I also notice in one of your earlier posts you stated "Wow! Less than 30 seconds after my post I get this".... and the seller suggests "If you can think of a fair deal for both of us let me know".
Again, you gave him no opportunity. Within moments you were posting on the bb and saying "I did want to settle this as gentleman"
I dont actually see where you tried to do that?
