For a point of accuracy, I actually stood behind Gene and dictated it.
The chip I sent you recently is one of those as shown in the top left of the scan, ie it is a genuine chip and not a Borland.
Jay Sands, who posted in that original thread, saw the chips a few hours after the post was made. He can confirm that in 'daylight' they were considerably more different from each other than they appear in the scan.
Jim Perlowski also saw them and we discussed. Although Jim and I have different views on whether Borland himself was responsible for all said counterfeits, he did agree they were different, and that various chips were made after certain casinos closed, including quite possibly the ones on the right.
I am still to find anyone who has the chip on the diecard mold.
