I'm a bit confused (as usual). If there are only 3 sales of a chip on ebay over a 5 year period and the price never exceeds $x, how can you value a chip higher than $x??????????????

How many ebay sales have there been on the $1 Showboat. I assume very few. Is the true value of the Showboat then more than $30k.

I hope prices won't depend on who owns a particular chip. I know that has been use a valuing criterion in the past.

Whatever standards you use should be consistant.
