I do not disagree with this comment, until a certain amount of chips have been "bled off". At some point, the "collectors" that make those purchases will show-off to each other (revealling the horde) or re-sale becomes a motivation to put onto eBay.

Granted, I am in unfamiliar territory, but does my commentary seem valid? And if so, how many could be bled off (in your opinion) before the community (silent or expressive) recognized that there was a horde of some sort? I would have to suspect that the pricing brackets will dictate different quantities, i.e., an M-value vs. a W-value will probably allow for a greater bleed-off before someone suspects a horde.
