I forgot to post about this. I've been a fan of Binion's Coffee Shop (downstairs) since my 1st trip to Vegas in 2002 or 2003. This year my roomate and I stayed out late at a show, and decided to get early breakfast there. But, they now close at 1am??? 1am??? What happened to my early-bird breakfast? Where am I going to get my Steak and Eggs at 3am?
Very sad...very sad.
On the upside, the Philly' Cheese-Steak at 777 Brew Pub in Main Street Station, still rocks! The sandwich is so huge they give you a steak knife so you can cut it to pick it up.
The buffet at Mandalay Bay was incredible! It was Huge!
Hugo's Cellar was nice. The food was awesome, and the staff waited on your every move, but $160 bucks for Dinner for 2? Well, we did get all the courses and a couple bottles of wine, but still...it was ok. This was a surprise for my roomie Christina.
The buffet at the Riviera (I forgot it's name) was awesome as well. Our server was The Iced Tea Queen! She refilled us to where we couldn't take anymore. She also offered, and sometimes did, grab extra stuff for us.
Sam's Town was great as well, but I never seem to get very far past the Mexican. I think I grossed some folks out by grabbing some french fries, cheddar cheese and slathering the whole thing with beef gravy to make poutine though! (It's a Quebec/Canadian thing! I grew up on the stuff! Nom, nom, nom!)
Chapagne Brunch at Fremont...Horrible! We could barely got our server to get us anything. Our whole section was complaining about her. We finally had to grab her Boss and complain. We got a whole bottle of chamagne delivered to our table and a carafe of coffee, "on the house". This experience sucked, cuz this was something I planned as a special thing for my roomie Christina and me.
I really wanted to try the buffett at Belaggio, but my roomie didn't want to spend that much money. Even though I was paying, she thought it was too much, so we didn't go.
Anybody else have some food tips/stories?
Hmmm...why am I getting hungry?
