I spent a very interesting half hour this afternoon at the Ocala Poker and Jai-Alai casino near Ocala. The main reason I went was to find out when the new "Grand Opening" chips were to be released. All I could find out on that subject was that they were to be released sometime in September.

T talked to the card room manager, Jeff, for awhile. When they release the chip they will have prizes, etc. The card room itself was nice, clean the a pleasent place to play cards. If you are ever in the area besure and stop by. All of the staff were very friendly and were kind to poor old card players like me when I asked for chips. Jeff the manager, was very friendly. The young ladies at the cage were most helpful. Be sure and tip them something if you just go for chips. All and all it was a very enjoyable half hour.
