() representative suggested that I try to revise the auction and eliminate the PayPal requirement. It worked.
He said the prompt I saw had to be a glitch from their end. They do require PayPal for sellers meeting one of these criteria:
A seller is now required to offer either PayPal or merchant credit card payments if any of these four conditions is met:
- They have more than 5% dissatisfied buyers in the last 30 days
- Their feedback score is less than 100
- They’re listing in the following categories that are considered higher risk: gift certificates, video games, cell phones, computers and consumer electronics
- They registered after January 17, 2007.
None of those apply to me, so it looks to be business as usual.
