While I would have loved to see the earlier years of Vegas. It still can't be beat for excitement. Coming to the Convention this had me acting like a little kid.

My first visit was 1984...I remember it well. Most of the places I saw are gone. My brother George and I took a long walk in 105 degree heat to collect $1 chips.

Vegas is my Disneyworld.

And that big ole' gold nugget is still on display at the GN. You can try to dress Binion's up as much as you want, it still smells smokey and the lower ceilings just gives it "that feel".

I love it.
