Many years ago my bother had a friend who was a wealthy art dealer who had bought a Rolls Royce for his wife for Christmas. The car was to be delivered in early November so it was delivered to my brother’s house for safe keeping until Christmas. He was told to drive it a little so the battery didn’t go dead parked for a month. Well, my brother was single at the time wanted to impress a lady friend took her out and used the Rolls. One thing leads to another and they ended up back at my brother’s house for the night and the young lady was partially disrobed on arrival.

Christmas comes around and the car is parked at the front door wrapped with a huge bow. Needless to say his friend’s wife was overwhelmed. A week or so later she had the car cleaned and when she picked it up was told they found her missing high-heel under the seat. Since it didn’t fit, and wasn’t hers it stood to reason he husband had been cheating on her. He swore up and down he knew nothing about it and the car had been at my brother’s house the whole time. She assured him the she KNEW he would lie for him! My brother swore and did his best convincing that it was in fact true. They still nearly divorced over it and it was a sore spot with her that she was never 100% sure of.

A year later at a Christmas party with his friend and his wife everyone was having a good time and exchanging little gifts with each other. Each would try to find something unique or exotic that the other didn’t have. My brother topped the list when his friend (in front of his wife) opened his gift. The matching red high-heal shoe to the one found a year earlier by his wife in the Rolls!!
