into Tony Cornero (Who leased the SS Rex gambling concession from the Apache Hotel), and was the builder of the Meadows, Las Vegas' first 'carpet joint', (his brothers had to own it because he was a convicted felon) and also impetus behind the Stardust) and then really got into the history of the Apache Hotel itself. I guess you could say that its history is a major foci of my collecting interests. In addition to collecting its chips (SS Rex, Eldorado, Horseshoe) I'm also interested in adding photos, postcards, and matchbook covers from the Apache Hotel, Apache Casino, SS Rex, Eldorado, and Horseshoe from its being built until it left the Binion family.
Commercial: If anyone has any extra flat memorabilia (postcards, matchbook covers, photos, brochures) I'm always looking to add to my collection and am willing to pay fair retail prices for choice material that I don't have (and can afford).
