I don't know anything about poker but my guess is MONEY!!! They probably figure to gain a bigger TV rating in the fall once summer vacations are over. That also gives the promoters 3-4 months to hype it. I agree that it seems silly and if I were on a winning streak I'd be BS. Same reasons they start pro sports at 9pm est, we are easily led. JMHO
