Last Thursday when I there trying to acquire more sets of these chips, the cashier informed me that they put out a redemption notice with the sale of CJ's (which I was not aware of) making the chip set obsolete at the end of the notice. She said before the notice, CJ's was still cashing them in and making those cashed in available to collectors.

I had always thought that if they were available (up to the end of the redemption) they coud not be considered obsolete.

My bad!
