As for bartending school.....How long is the course? About the only useful thing from it is the placement program they have after you graduate. How much can you really learn by pouring colored water? It is the only way to get a bartending job without restaurant experience, though.

Bartending is 68% timing and knowing your way around YOUR bar, 30% knowing people, 2% drink knowledge. Nobody on the outside knows what's in a sex on the beach, so if you know how to fake it, you're golden.
