Item Description:
This One Pound Silver Strike Machine display is minted by the "CC" mint, the same mint that strikes Silver Strikes. It's dated 1998. This Silver Strike Machine display pieces are very hard to find. Comes in a velvet box. (Same as the $200 Silver Strike Boxes)
Go to any coin dealer they have these! I seriously doubt that this token ever was inside the display of a casino slot machine.
A coin Dealer Link here...
This coin dealer sell's these coins for $119.50 each. I'd hate to see this E-bay dealer(who is also a club member) get more than that for them from a fellow silver strike collector.
He has several up for bid.... and the starting price is very low... Wonder if they just might sell for well under the spot silver price.
I also have a observatrion regarding this token.
It states, "ONE POUND FINE SILVER" It a Troy Pound(12 troy oz) NOT the apothocary pound(16 oz)
Accroding to the Certificate that came with my Fitzgerald's $200.00 silver strike it is "One Troy Pound" although the token states on it "ONE POUND FINE SILVER"
Figuring the current market price of silver near $5.00 per troy ounce.....
Multiplying 12 x $5 you get $60 worth of silver but if you're lead to believe our normal pound 16 x $5 you get $80 worth of silver!
