They are both the same. If you reverse the positions and put the bottom chip on top and the top chip on the bottom, the bottom chip will always look wider than the top chip. Try it with any two similar chips .... they don't have to be the Harrah's chips. As for the varieties of the gray ring..... the mini-i variation is not in "the book" as it was just recently discovered by Russ Diaz.
