I don't have the scanner or software you are using, so this is just a guess:
Images on your monitor are being shown in RGB (red/green/blue) colors of light.
However, the printer is printing in CYMK (cyan/yellow/magenta/blacK) colors of pigment in the ink. Some software will convert RGB images to CYMK automatically when printing. Other software needs to be configured, and/or the image needs to be converted (manually) to CYMK before printing.
On your Adobe software, do you have a menu bar item that says "Image"? If so, pull it down and look for "Mode", which specifies the RGB, CYMK, etc. settings. Re-save an image in CYMK mode, then print it, and see what comes out. Also check the Page SetUp and Print command settings. It may require the instruction manual to get the proper settings.
