".S.S.C.A. hosted their first convention in August 1987 at the Frontier Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada in which 69 members & spouses attended. To say the least it was a huge success for the inaugural event. Since then, our attending membership have selected and voted upon each sight to where the future conventions will be held. To date, the eleven past conventions have been held every alternate year in Las Vegas. The Palace Station Hotel & Casino was the location for this year's event to which we had 33 attendees. Registration began on Monday, Sept 10 th 2007, at 7:30 AM, after which we had three full days of morning meetings with stick trading and socializing in the afternoons. Highlights included guest speakers, a cocktail party and the closing banquet on Wednesday evening to finalize the eleventh I.S.S.C.A. convention."
No cash bar set up for these folks Chuck ... it was included in the $133 per person fee!
