This is a scan of an emblem on a Mayer china gravy boat. The Chevy Chase Club is an old and exclusive country club in Chevy Chase Maryland and should not be confused with the Chevy Chase Country Club outside of Chicago. I've seen several references to gambling at the Illinois CCCC but I can't find anything referencing gambling at the CCC. I would suspect that over the last 100+ years the CCC may have seen a card game or two. Many politicians belong(ed) to the CCC which is located near outside of Washington, DC.
It's a long shot, but I like long shots. Has anyone seen this emblem, either the shield or the CCC with a bow and arrow above it, on a chip?
