() I've seen 100's of Excalibur Win Card Chips, there are some "Dark Blue" some that are "Light Blue" some that have "Thick Hot Stamp" while others have "Think Hot Stamp" (and I'm sure I'm missing 4 to 5 more that would qualify as "variations". There have been thousands and thousands of packs of Win Cards delivered to the Excalibur over the years, I'm guessing you would see many color variations on these chips. I've ran the 100+ I have under a UV light and guess what....none of them have UV markings! As you can see in the random pack I have pulled there are many "variations" of the chip.
The Chip rack would be 10 volumes if we considered weak Hot Stamping as a variation of a chip. I'm guessing some of the chips have seen more play than others (oil and dirt on the fingers have changed the color).
Yes it could be multiple orders over the year or so that Sunset Station ordered the chips and they had a problem with the color matching at the plant.
I have some pink Circus Circus chips that I stored next to some red chips that bled on them...is that a variation
