I am always telling x-ray screeners that there are rolls of coins or chips in my bags, since I tend to roll them and then they look like long cylinders. A quick inspection (at maybe half the screening points) gets me through without trouble. I try to keep them at the top of the bag so they're accessible, and sometimes I remove them and put them in the tray.
