Probably my last post before I get home on Sunday:As a first time convention participant,but a long time collectibles dealer who has attended and organized shows,I must say that I was VERY IMPRESSED with the work that Dawn and Mike put forth to make this show the apparent success that it was.
I am terribly dismayed that the powers to be decided to "fire" someone immediately after such a success.
WHAT WERE YOU THINKING? Could you not have at least had the decency to wait a few days or a couple of weeks before you lowered the boom?
And then to say that they did an outstanding job!!....Wow!
The end of the convention should have been a joyous time,but it became a huge downer.
I hope that the executive members who voted to fire Mike in this way(to the person who voted against this...I salute you!)have a great explanation for the lack of respect shown.
