Thanks for the scans, Jim. I wish I would have known you were going! I guess I was there about noonish. I have a Gold club card, but I didn't have it with me... After talking to the guy at the gate, he could see I wasn't a fireworks goer, and he let me through... I also didn't have my passport/birth certificate, which I knew wasn't the ideal situation. The guy on the Canadian side let me right through... the US guy wasn't too much trouble either, after giving me a brief geography lesson ("Canada is still a foreign country, right? All foreign exchange students have a passport when they come in to the US..."). I'm not really upset at him, I'm glad he is keeping our borders safe...I just wish he could have done it without a condescending attitude.
