Shuffling chips can be hazardous to your health. I started practicing in 1980 after watching a tall and most beautiful Asian lady shuffle a huge stack of chips in a small stakes stud game at the old Holiday Inn in Vegas. In 97 I was shuffling away when a not attractive middle aged witch (misspelled "witch") sat down next to me, took out a long cigarette and began blowing smoke in my face. I didn't say anything but continued to shuffle and fold as I played my game of 7 Card patience. Then the witch looked at me and said, "Would you please stop that. It's annoying." I said, "Sure, I'll stop shuffling if you'll stop smoking." With that the witch, took her cigarette and stubbed it out on the top of my stack of $5, picked up her cigarettes, her chips, got up and left the table. After a brief moment of utter silence, the table broke out in applause.
Hint: Paulson's chips are easier to shuffle that Bud Jones or CHIPCOs.
It only took me ten years to suffle a pack of 20 and even now I'll sometimes spray a stack over the table to annoyance of the dealers.
