I hope you all will bear with me for a moment. There will be a guitar, (pics to follow) being made available for sale very soon. It is a "collectible" that was made for the NEW YORK CITY FIREFIGHTERS, by "Schecter", located in California. These were made to honor the firefighters who lost their lives on 9/11. Each firehouse who lost a comrade was given one to keep at their firehouse. There is one that will now be made available at "auction" to help them, and the "STEPHEN SILLER FOUNDATION", raise funds to continue with their "Mississippi Santa, 2008," ongoing program. This "program", now in it's fourth year, will once again bring toys, and refreshments to the "Katrina Kids", in Mississippi and Alabama. Last year thousands of kids had a "little better" Christmas, because of these people, and countless volunteers. Although this may not be of interest to all, perhaps you could pass this on to anyone you know, website, etc, who might be interested? This year, 8 truckloads of toys and "goodies" (we need more) will be brought from NYC by the firefighters to the gulf coast. These guys pay all of their own expenses, take time off, and leave their families for a week each year to do this. It costs roughly around $2,500 per truck to make this all work. We will also have an autographed (signed) "drumhead", donated by the band, "Three Doors Down" at "auction", as well. We are looking for any donations, funding, etc, if anyone is interested in helping out with this wonderful cause.
