Yes, I live up here in Lower Lake, 2 hrs North of Oakland, just above the Napa Valley. The guy I bought these from used to live in the San Anselmo area, but he said he thought this mixed box of chips came from someone who was from the Midwest. He'd had it so long he couldn't remember the details.

Were Paper Chips around in 1909? I thought they were first made in the'30s. If so, would that branch of the LIONS CLUB have maintained their ID/name "Elmhurst" that long?

Maybe I should hold off on selling/trading them until I can do some research. I guess the first place to start would be the Oakland LIONS CLUB? Any advice would be appreiated. Thanks for responding - Buzz
