Is it possible to determine if Big Brown is related to Buckpasser - a great horse in the 60's whose career was cut short by a quarter crack (the same affliction that Big Brown has now) which was chronic. There can be no direct lineage as Buckpasser was a gelding but I am wondering if there were any sires or dams in common?
