I was able to visit Mr. Maheu this past Monday. His health has been in decline. At 90 years old his mind is still sharp as a tack. On the nightstand was a bouquet from Phyllis McGuire and he said that Kirk Kirkorian "had sent one of his men over to see if he needed anything." He asked me to send his regrets that he will not be able to attend this year's banquet and to say how much he has enjoyed the event in past years.
