I feel kinda bad about revealing this - but my total is.... (drum roll please)....$3,482.60
But I kind of cheated, several video poker jackpots thrown in and since we live out "in the sticks", I really didn't give up much. We have no Starbucks, McD's or 7-11's out here....
I just kept tabs of grocery store sales, cheaper gas (those dimes add up), and when I won at video poker, I socked the winnings away....actually I did quite well at nickel Video Poker this past year.
Sooooo, after counting the total, Darrell and I have decided to give HALF of the piggy bank to 2 different animal charities.....hence I will only be bringing $1700 to the convention.
All in all, it was fun and I will be starting a new "piggy" as soon as we get home from the convention!
