I fully agree with Archie on the over use of the word RARE. Obviously the Sands $5 recently found by James Campiglia and another found by Rene are truly RARE chips. Obviously the current $5 Bellagio chip (and many others) could never be considered RARE. My question would be "Where do we draw the line?" I'm sure everyone has in his own mind what RARE means. Is a chip rare if 1-5 are known? If 10-50 are known? If 100-500 are known? I think I heard recently that there are about 2500 active members of our club. With that in mind, I would use the word RARE if about 12 examples are known. That's 1/2 of 1% of the 2500. Just my opinion. What do you think?
