The plastic chips are inlaid with silver-colored metal designs. They are inlaid into the plastic, but because of the complexity of the design, I think they are acid-etched rather than die-cut. This is probably how the metal inlays used in the Taho Village roulettes were made, although those chips were clay, not molded plastic. The Shield design is on a plain-mold chip.
The LVC rectangle is described as a Faro marker, and is attributed by Jim to Las Vegas Club in LV. It's clay and about the thickness of a standard chip.
