In Response To: Did you hear that in 2008 ... ()

Despite all the hoopla of the race, the first woman to run for President was Victoria Woodhull in 1872. There have been many others, including the first African-American WOMAN who ran in 1972 for the Democrats (and a bunch of black men - i.e. Jesse Jackson). Anyone can RUN, it will be historic only if they WIN.
