Just left Bob at the hospital. His spirits are high, he is still in ICU
but hoping to be in a room tomorrow and be discharged next Tuesday. It
hurts to laugh or sneeze, but the first question out of his mouth to my
wife and I was, "Did you bring any chips?". He wants to have the doctor
who operated on him and all the nurses attending him daily to sigh chips
for his autograph collection.
Bob is in great pain and today they walked him, but he needed someone to
help support him while he stood up. His blood sugar is high but all other
signs were well within their limits.
Bob and Carolyn want all to know that it took every prayer and good thought
from each and every one of you to pull this off. He is still not out of
the woods, but with all the continued prayers, the MAN UPSTAIRS will have
to listen.
